Some wonderful gentle and healing words in this. Thank you. I particularly appreciate - Your weariness does not disqualify you from resurrection hope.

Needed to hear that.

This is beautiful, thank you Ian. I’m working with your Beatitude posts at the moment and this feels like part of that, too. I shall listen to the song, which I don’t know, later. Thank you.

This seven weeks of stations of resurrection has been so meaningful for me. And, now, your post today gathers it all together and sets me in another place with another perspective. And it leaves me asking why doesn’t the church observe these important seven weeks of Easter??? This time has been more meaningful than any of my Advent or Lent observations.

One of your questions on the seventh week was what fears, attachments, or false selves might the Holy Spirit be inviting you to let go of? Part of what I wrote was: I can no longer beat myself up when I revert to old behavior. I just give it to God and LET. IT. GO. Then ask God for grace to do better in the future. I have a confidence that is new to me and I no longer feel the need to apologize, sometimes just for being alive. Yuck! It feels good. Understatement.

I want to carry resurrection with me each day. Thank you.

Sorry forgot to say - some Christian’s and churches have been trying to lean into stations of the resurrection as a bit of a recent things - but I agree the church should be doing more - and this is why I have taken this very seriously.

Wow Katie that is beautiful and I hear the focus on healing and restoration coming from leaning into our God of resurrection contemplatively. Keep going this is what deep Christianity is all about, healing, freedom, self care and kindness, and finding joy in the challenging. This is what God and my good friend and brother Mark has been teaching me! Keep going! Much love from here.
